Mango Crumble.

Although it's still summer where I live, I can't stop thinking about the smell of jut-out-of-the-oven crumble. It reminds me of crispy mornings, a hot cup of coffee and good company. Today, I'm showing you a recipe for this mango crumble, which I adopted from Chocolate Covered Katie's apple crumble recipe. Wanna have a read?

The Ingredients.

  • 3 tablespoons of quick oats
  • 70 grams of mango
  • 1/8 tsp of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of sweetener of choice
  • 4 grams of coconut flour
  • 1 date
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil

How To.

  • Cut your mango & date into small pieces.
  • Mix the dry (flour, oats, mango, salt and date) and wet ingredients (almond milk, sweetener and coconut oil) in two separate bowls, if you're ready, mix everything together until you get an even mixture.
  • Grease your oven-safe-2-inch dish and put your mango crumble in a preheated oven (350 degrees F, or 175°C).
  • Let your crumble bake for about 35-40 minutes, and check regularly so it doesn't burn.
  • Take it out of the oven and serve warm.

This dessert is super-easy and quick to make and it's soooo tasty! When fall arrives, I will for sure try out the apple crumble as well, but since it's still quite warm, I though that adding mango would give it a nice twist.

What's your favorite dessert?
